Nitrazepam, similar to other benzodiazepines and nonbenzodiazepines, leads to impairments in entire body balance and standing steadiness in people who get up at night or another morning. Falls and hip fractures are often claimed. Blend with alcohol will increase these impairments. Partial but incomplete tolerance develops to those impairments.[35]
